About Berber Landscaping

Out toward Elkins Lake in late spring, the ground rolls just enough that a lawn changes color as you walk it, one slope lit and the next still holding shade. Berber Landscaping reads that contour before the first pass and cuts to it, because a hillside mown flat looks wrong and a hillside mown well looks like nothing at all — which is the point. Beds get weeded back to their edges, hedges brought level, clippings cleared off the cart path side of the drive. By evening the whole property has that settled, even look, greens meeting mulch in a clean seam. It is a quiet kind of satisfaction, and it lasts until the next growth spurt.
