About K&J Lawn Care

An East Texas thunderstorm can drop two inches on Hughes Springs before supper and leave the whole town steaming by sunrise. Grass takes that as an invitation, and so does everything growing beside it, which is why this work is as much about staying ahead as it is about cutting. Mowing, edging, string trimming and cleanup come around week after week, the red clay soft underfoot and the pines still dripping long after the rain has stopped. Cass County summers carry enough humidity that the early hours are the only honest ones, so the day begins when the light does. A yard given that attention holds its shape right through August, wet weather and all.
