About Arb's Landscaping and Tree Service

Storms reach Hudson Oaks out of the west with the whole sky ahead of them, and by morning there is always a post oak that has given up a limb over somebody's roofline. That is when the saws come out: deadwood taken down clean, a cedar elm lifted off a fence line, a mesquite thinned until light can reach the grass beneath it. The rest of the year keeps a steadier rhythm of landscaping, with beds shaped, shrubs held to their line, and a yard mowed and trimmed until the property carries itself well from the road. Hudson Oaks grew up inside the Cross Timbers, that ragged oak belt where the piney country runs out and the prairie begins, so the trees here were never planted, only kept. Working around them, and for them, is the job.
