About Sykes Turf Management

Grayson County grass sleeps through the short days and then wakes almost overnight — one warm March week and the dormant tan turns green from the roots up. Sykes Turf Management follows the turf through that whole arc: cutting on a rhythm, edging, trimming, seasonal cleanups, and keeping the beds and borders clear. Blackland prairie soil is heavy and generous and will grow whatever you allow it, which is exactly why the tended lawns stand out around Howe. Getting the mowing height right matters as much as getting the lines straight. It is steady weekly work in a town where people notice a good-looking yard.
