About Young Professionals Landscaping

Montrose wakes slowly, and the mowers get there first — while Westheimer is still empty and the light is coming sideways through the crape myrtles onto porch rails and old bungalow steps. Young Professionals Landscaping keeps the yards through Montrose and Midtown, small lots wedged between garage apartments and courtyards, each one a little different from its neighbor. Mowing and edging, beds weeded and mulched, a few plants set in where a corner has gone bare, everything blown clean off the brick walk. The neighborhood rewards attention: one tended front yard on a block lifts the four around it. Doing the small ones properly, one after another, is the whole ambition.
