About Summit construction and landscaping

Autumn on the southern Garfield prairie is a matter of light more than temperature — the sun drops lower, the stubble goes bronze, and the hackberries let go all at once after the first cold night. Summit construction and landscaping keeps yards mowed and cleared across this stretch, from the acreages near the Kingfisher County line back up toward town. Fall means leaves and the closing cuts of the year: mow, trim, clear the beds and the walks, leave the turf short enough to sit out the winter without matting down. Spring asks the opposite — the dead top comes off before the bermuda will wake — and the round begins again. A lawn held to that rhythm never looks like it is catching up; it just looks right in every month it is looked at.
