About Special Touch Landscape Contractors

The live oaks along the west edge of Memorial Park hold the cool a little longer than the rest of Houston allows, and that early hour is when this work goes best. Special Touch Landscape Contractors keeps lawns, beds and hedges in order through Memorial and the streets that slope down toward Buffalo Bayou, where the land lies flat enough that every line you cut is on display. Mowing under high oak shade asks for patience, and so does mulch — turned fresh so the beds read dark and the green sits brighter against them. There is a plain pleasure in the last pass of an afternoon, walks blown clean, hedge faces squared, the yard looking like somebody gave it thought. Houston's growing season runs from February deep into December, and a place kept steady across all of it is the whole point.
