Rogelio & Jean Moreno Lawn Services

About Rogelio & Jean Moreno Lawn Services

Dusk over Pasadena has a color all its own — the refinery flares to the east, the last of the daylight on Vince Bayou, and a warm salt-tinged wind coming up from the ship channel. Rogelio & Jean Moreno Lawn Services works these streets as a pair, one on the mower and one on the trimmer, moving through a yard in a rhythm that only comes from doing it together. Grass gets cut and edged, fence lines and mailbox posts trimmed close, walks and drives blown down, hedges kept level and off the windows. Beds get weeded and topped up so the front of the house has a clear frame. It is a two-person operation on a first-name basis with its route, and the yards show it: even, edged, and finished before the evening is gone.
