About Quality Design Inc.

West University lots are narrow and deep, boxed in by neighbors on both sides, and that geometry decides everything a landscape can be there. Quality Design Inc. designs for those proportions — a side path that earns its width, a bed line that squares to the house, plantings scaled so a courtyard reads as generous instead of crowded. The work runs from the drawing through the digging: beds cut and edged, plants set, mulch laid, then mowing, trimming and pruning to hold the composition as it fills in. In a place where the front yard is essentially a stage forty feet from the sidewalk, the crispness of a single edge does an enormous amount of work. On a bright Saturday in Bellaire, with the sprinklers off and the lines still sharp, the design finally stops being an idea and becomes the address.
