About Martin Land Design

Every few winters a hard freeze slides down over Deer Park, browns the lawns to straw overnight, and the whole town spends February wondering what will come back. It always does — and Martin Land Design is out there in the first warm week reading the yard's bones, deciding where the beds want to sit and where the turf should stop. That eye carries into ordinary weeks too: mowing at the right height, edges cut to deliberate lines, beds shaped rather than merely trimmed, shrubs pruned to a form instead of a shell, and everything cleared away after. A yard is a set of shapes before it is anything else, and shapes hold up all year in a climate this green. Martin Land Design works Deer Park and the towns around it.
