About Lilies Landscaping

By late February the azaleas begin opening across the Museum District, and the beds that stood bare in January want hands in them again. Lilies Landscaping works that ground — bed shaping and edging, mulch laid smooth, plantings tended, and the lawn around it all mowed and trimmed so the color has a frame. There is real craft in the border between turf and flower bed; done right it is a drawn line, not a smudge. Spring in Houston is short and generous, and the yards given attention in it carry the look all the way into the heat. From the walking paths near Hermann Park out through Montrose, a tended bed makes a house look glad.
