Gilbert's Tree and Lawn Service

About Gilbert's Tree and Lawn Service

January in Katy is the honest window for tree work — the canopy is thin, the frame of every live oak and elm shows plainly, and the ground is dormant enough to take the traffic. Gilbert's Tree and Lawn Service uses it: raising limbs off roofs and drives, thinning crowded branches, clearing deadwood, and carrying the debris out instead of leaving a pile. The same crew comes back for the growing season with mowing, edging and cleanups once the Cinco Ranch lawns wake up in March. Cutting a tree well means knowing where not to cut. A yard where the trees have room and the grass has light mostly takes care of the rest.
