Fresh Lawn

About Fresh Lawn

By six on a July morning the Third Ward is already awake — sprinklers ticking on the streets near MacGregor Park, light coming in sideways under the oaks before the heat takes the day. Fresh Lawn claims those early hours: mowing while the grass still holds dew, trimming around trunks and fence posts, edging the sidewalks, and clearing the walks on the way out. Summer here means cutting often, because a week of wet heat turns a lawn shaggy fast. The crew finishes a street and moves along before the worst of the afternoon builds. A yard cut clean at sunrise keeps looking that way all day.
