About ELG Lawn Care Services

Southwest Houston in late August does not so much cool down as dim. ELG Lawn Care Services works Sharpstown and Gulfton in that long amber hour, mowing once the concrete has finally stopped throwing heat back up at you, running the trimmer along fence lines, and cutting the walkway border into a single clean stroke. Bermuda and St. Augustine both push hard here through the wet months, so the route comes around often and no lawn ever gets away from anybody. Clippings go back onto the turf rather than drifting across the driveway. There is real satisfaction in the last look from the truck — a yard squared up, every line in its lane, cicadas still going in the pecans.
