About Xicol Tree Services

Hornsby Bend takes its name from the wide swing the Colorado River makes here, and the bottomland left behind grows pecans and cottonwoods with real size to them. Xicol Tree Services works those trees — removals when a cottonwood has gone punky and stands over a roof, crown trimming and pruning to lift limbs off drives and let air move through, and cleanup after the river-valley storms that arrive with sideways rain. Herons lift off the ponds when the chipper starts up, and by evening the lot is back to grass with the chips hauled out and the brush gone. It is straightforward work with a visible finish, which is the appeal of it. Hornsby Bend, Del Valle, Webberville, Manor and east Austin.
