M&A Lawncare & Welding

About M&A Lawncare & Welding

West of San Antonio the country opens into mesquite and low oak, and Hondo sits in the middle of it where the ranch roads meet the town streets. M&A Lawncare & Welding starts early on those mornings, when the air is still cool enough to work in and the grass is heavy with dew — mowing, trimming the ragged margins where a yard runs out into pasture, edging where the concrete begins. Places like this have two kinds of ground to keep, the neat part and the wild part, and the job is holding a clear line between them. Summer heat pushes the schedule toward dawn; after the first cool front the work turns to clearing leaves and brush out of the fence corners. A yard cut clean against all that open brush country is a satisfying thing to stand and look at.
