About Summit Landscape

Come April the roadsides west of Hondo go blue and gold with wildflowers, the mesquite finally leafs out, and every lawn in Medina County decides to grow at the same time. Summit Landscape meets that rush head-on — mowing on a tightened schedule, edging the drives back into shape, trimming the borders, shaping and tidying the beds after the spring rains scatter things around. The work carries through the long bright summer, when the cut goes higher and the visits start earlier, and into the fall cleanups when the oaks and pecans let go. Between the brush country south of town and the hills rising to the north, this is a place where a groomed yard stands out against a whole lot of open. Finishing a lawn so the edges are crisp and the ground looks intentional is the point of the whole day.
