About Paul sanchez mowing

Saturday in Hondo moves at its own speed: the courthouse blocks are quiet, somebody's sprinkler is running, and a mower two streets over is the loudest thing going. Paul sanchez mowing fits right into that morning, cutting yards one at a time, trimming close around porch steps, mailboxes and pecan trunks, then edging the sidewalk until the line is honest. There is no trick to it beyond care and a sharp blade, and in a town of shaded lots and older houses that turns out to be plenty. Through the hot stretch the grass wants cutting often; when the days shorten the leaves come down and want gathering instead. A mowed lawn on a still Medina County afternoon smells like the best part of the week.
