Great Texas Lawn Care

About Great Texas Lawn Care

July in Hollywood Park sounds like cicadas and looks like heat sitting on the caliche, and by two in the afternoon everything alive has gone under the oaks to wait. Great Texas Lawn Care starts long before that, cutting while the dew is still on the St. Augustine and the shade is still cool, mowing high so the grass can hold its color through a South Texas summer. The work is straightforward and it is done completely: even passes across the front, trimming around the mailbox and the tree rings, edging where the lawn meets concrete, then everything blown back onto the grass. Come autumn the pace eases and the cleanups begin, leaves and oak litter cleared out from along the fences. Driving home to a yard that looks looked-after is a small good thing, and it is the whole reason for the early start.
