About El Gringo Lawn Care and Maintenance LLC

Hollywood Park is a town roofed in live oak — a few square blocks on the north edge of San Antonio where the branches meet over the street and deer wander out of the shade like they belong to the neighborhood, which they do. El Gringo Lawn Care and Maintenance LLC works under that canopy, mowing the dappled lawns, trimming close around the trunks and stone borders, edging the curves of the drives so the lines follow the street instead of fighting it. Shade changes everything about a yard here: the grass grows thinner, the cut has to be gentler, and the detail work carries the whole look. Through the long South Texas summer the mower comes when the grass says so, and the yard is left swept clean of every clipping. The result is simple and worth it — cool green under old trees, tidy right to the edge of the pavement.
