Theiss Landscape Works

About Theiss Landscape Works

Summer mornings along the highway through Hockley start hot and only climb, so the mowers roll early, before the sandy ground gives back the night's heat. Theiss Landscape Works takes them out at that hour: cutting grass at a height that can survive August, edging drives and sidewalks, trimming around fences, mailboxes and the bases of the pines, and clearing every walk and slab before leaving. This is the seam where the pine belt meets open prairie, and lawns here catch both deep shade and sun-scald, sometimes in the same yard. Doing it right means changing the plan between the front and the back rather than pretending one pass fits everything. The route runs through Hockley, Waller, Cypress, Magnolia and Tomball.
