About Axe Lawn Services

Hico sits where the blackland gives way to limestone and live oak, and the Bosque runs clear and shallow just past the edge of town. Axe Lawn Services mows and maintains the yards along those brick-front streets and out on the county roads — cutting, trimming, edging, and clearing away what the work leaves behind. Central Texas summers bake the shallow soil hard, so the mowing is set high and kept regular rather than heroic. Spring and fall bring the cleanups, oak leaves and all. A trimmed yard on a Hico morning, with the hills going blue behind it, is worth the early alarm.
