About Lawns by Shawn

Winter here does not erase a lawn, it sets it aside: the bermuda turns wheat-colored, the yards go quiet, and a January glaze can silver every blade in the neighborhood before the sun takes it back by noon. Lawns by Shawn keeps working through that dormant stretch, because a tan lawn still shows every ragged edge and every drift of leaves piled against a fence. The work is mowing when the turf calls for it, edging, trimming, and clearing debris so a yard stays tidy right through the cold months and comes out of them clean. Then February turns, the green creeps back, and the first cut of the year lands on a lot that never got away from anyone. Hewitt yards fill most of the book, with regular stops in Robinson and Woodway.
