About Turtle Creek Landscapes

In April the shoulders of US 290 west of Fredericksburg run blue with bluebonnets, and out at Harper the nights are still dark enough to show the whole Milky Way. Turtle Creek Landscapes works between those two pleasures, mowing Harper lawns so they hold their shape without losing the wildness around them. Edging restores the border between grass and gravel; trimming clears the posts, the mailbox and the base of every oak. Shrubs are shaped, beds cleared, cuttings gathered and gone. What is left reads as tended from the road and still belongs to the Hill Country.
