Living Water Lawn Care

About Living Water Lawn Care

Everything green in this valley is water that somebody handed it — canals and laterals threading in from the river, gates lifted, fields and front yards drinking in their turn. Living Water Lawn Care works with that arithmetic in mind, cutting at a height that shades the roots through the long dry stretch and letting the turf keep what it is given. September brings the storms in off the Gulf, and afterward the whole town grows an inch overnight; that is the week the mower earns its keep, pass after pass, edges recut and walks blown down to bare concrete. Trimming follows the fence lines, and yard cleanups gather what the wind and the water left behind. It is plain work, and a watered lawn cut well is a plain, ordinary kind of beautiful.
