About Guillen Lawn Services

Saturday starts early in Harlingen with the clang of a trailer ramp and two-stroke exhaust drifting down a street that is still mostly asleep. Guillen Lawn Services runs a route through it — mow, edge, trim, blow, load, and on to the next address before the heat arrives with its opinions. Doing the same five things well, house after house, is a harder discipline than it looks, and the proof turns up in the straightness of a border. By afternoon a whole block has been squared away and the neighborhood reads as one continuous kept thing. That accumulation, street by street, is what the work actually builds.
