Margarito Albarran

About Margarito Albarran

There is a kind of yard work done in Haltom City by one person and a trailer, quietly, all the way down a street, and it holds up as well as anything. Margarito Albarran mows, edges, trims and cleans up — no more services than that, and each one finished before the next begins. In February the lawns are still dormant fawn-colored, the light is thin and low, and the work turns to tidying: last leaves off, beds cleared, edges re-cut so March has somewhere to start from. Doing a small number of things carefully is its own kind of answer. Haltom City yards, one at a time, until the street looks right.
