Layne's Lawns

About Layne's Lawns

September is the reward month here — the heat finally cracks around the third week, the light turns long and gold across Haltom City, and the grass comes back like it had been holding its breath since June. Layne's Lawns loves that hour: mowing late in the afternoon, edging while the shadows stretch out, trimming and clearing until the yard is nothing but clean color. Mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup run weekly through the growing season and taper as the days shorten. Turf carried carefully through August pays you back in the fall, and it shows plainly from the street. Some evenings the finished lawn is the prettiest thing on the whole block.
