North Texas Yard Works

About North Texas Yard Works

When the wind turns north over Gunter there is nothing between here and Oklahoma to slow it down, and the prairie grass lies over flat and pale. North Texas Yard Works takes the cold months seriously — cleanups that clear leaves and dead growth off the turf, edges cut sharp against walks and drives, a lawn set up to come back clean once the ground warms. Then March arrives, the Bermuda greens from the roots up, and the mowing turn begins again in earnest. A yard kept through the quiet season never needs rescuing in the loud one. That is most of what this work is: showing up before it is obvious anyone was needed.
