About Drewbacco Lawn Care

Fort Parker sits a few miles up the road from Groesbeck, where the post oaks turn a modest rust in November and the days go short and bright. Drewbacco Lawn Care works the shoulder seasons as carefully as the summer ones — final cuts taken low, leaves and clippings cleared off the turf, edges opened back up so the lines survive until spring. Central Texas does not do a true dormancy so much as a long pause, and yards that go into it tidy come out of it ahead. There is a particular pleasure in the last mow of the year: cool air, cut grass, a little woodsmoke somewhere down the block. Come March it all starts over, and that is fine.
