About Rollins Irrigation LLC

August in this part of Burnet County can go weeks without a real rain, the hills fading to tan while the St. Augustine hangs on only in the deep shade of the live oaks. Rollins Irrigation LLC works Granite Shoals lawns through that stretch, mowing high so the turf keeps a little cover over its own roots and cutting on a rhythm the grass can survive. Trimming stays light where the lawn is stressed, and the clippings come off the hardscape so nothing bakes onto the stone. When the first September front finally breaks the heat, those yards green back up instead of starting over. Knowing when to ease off is as much of the craft as knowing when to cut.
