About Three Sons Landscaping

East of Granbury the ground rolls up toward Acton in low oak-covered rises, and by late October those oaks turn rust and start letting go a handful at a time. Three Sons Landscaping spends the afternoons of that season with rakes and blowers as much as mowers, pulling leaves off the turf before they mat down and smother it. The work runs from mowing and edging to bed cleanout, shrub trimming and hauling the whole pile away for good. There is a particular pleasure in the last pass, when the yard goes from cluttered to clean in one sweep and the light comes in low and gold across it. Autumn here is short; the yards that get tended in it look best come March.
