About Peña Lawn and Landscape Services

Down in the Brazos bottom the pecans throw a heavy, generous shade, and by late August the cicadas make a sound like heat itself. Peña Lawn and Landscape Services moves through that afternoon at a steady pace — mow, edge, trim the fence lines, clear the beds, and take the fallen limbs and leaves out with them. Granbury summers ask a lot of a yard, and the answer is patience: cutting at the right height, keeping the lines honest, coming back before the grass gets ahead of anyone. There is real satisfaction in stepping back at the end of a hot job and seeing a lawn that looks cool again. The river keeps its own schedule; the yards along it keep this one.
