The Cutting Edge

About The Cutting Edge

A June noon in Granbury bleaches everything but the line where grass meets concrete, and that line is the whole argument. The Cutting Edge works to it — mowing first, then edging drives, walks and curbs until the turf stops in a straight, deliberate cut instead of creeping over the pavement. Trimming follows, tight around the mailbox post and the AC pad, then the blower takes every last blade off the drive. Under this sun a mowed yard is fine, but an edged yard looks intentional, and the difference is visible from the street. It is a small discipline, repeated weekly, and it is what makes a place read as kept.
