Chameleon Tree Service

About Chameleon Tree Service

On a summer evening Granbury's square glows against the limestone courthouse, and the live oaks around it throw shade that reaches most of the way to the lake. Chameleon Tree Service keeps those crowns lifted and shaped — pruning for clearance over walks and drives, thinning where cedar and oak have crowded one another along the Brazos, removing what has died back past saving. When a line of storms comes off the prairie and parks over Lake Granbury, the wind finds every weak limb on the water side of a house, and the cleanup that follows turns a wrecked lot back into a yard. There is plain pleasure in the last look: brush loaded, wood stacked, the shade landing exactly where the family wanted it. Granbury, Acton, Tolar, Cresson and Glen Rose.
