About Possum Kingdom Landscaping

Possum Kingdom Lake spreads its clear blue water through limestone canyons west of Graford, held back on the Brazos River by Morris Sheppard Dam, with the cliffs of Hell's Gate rising sheer from the surface. Possum Kingdom Landscaping shapes lawns and grounds in this lake country, where steep slopes, stony ground and strong sun all have their say. A good landscape here frames the water view instead of blocking it, with lawns running down toward the shore and planting choices suited to the rugged setting. On a summer weekend the coves hum with boats and voices, and the land above them deserves to look as good as the view. From the water, looking back up the slope, a tended lawn is the first sign of home.
