About Welch Stone LLC

The ground around Goldthwaite does not give anything away easily — caliche and limestone close under the surface, cedar and live oak holding the ridges, grass making its living in whatever soil it can find. Early spring is when all of it wakes up, and Welch Stone LLC meets it with mowing, edging, trimming and cleanup, working yards in town and places scattered out along the Mills County roads. Grass grown on hard ground rewards a clean cut; the color comes up richer and the edges hold their shape longer. Finishing a yard here means the walks are swept, the corners are trimmed back and the whole place looks intentional. That is worth the drive out.
