About 4M Outdoors

The first light in Mills County arrives low and long, sliding across the mesquite flats east of US 183 while the air still holds the last of the night's cool. That is when the mowing gets done in Goldthwaite — decks down early, before the Central Texas sun turns the afternoon to hammered tin. 4M Outdoors works the lawns of town and the caliche-road places outside it, cutting clean, edging the walks, running the trimmer along fence lines and mailbox posts. There is a particular satisfaction in a yard finished by mid-morning: lines laid straight, clippings blown off the drive, everything squared away while the day is still climbing. Come evening the grass stands even under a sky that goes copper all the way to the horizon.
