About One Man & a Mower

The name says it plainly: one truck, one trailer, one person who knows every yard on the route by its slopes and its soft spots. In spring the dogwoods flare white along the back roads between Gilmer and Kelsey, and One Man & a Mower is out early, cutting, edging and trimming across Upshur County. Working alone means the same hands make the same lines week after week, so a lawn keeps its pattern instead of starting over each visit. Walks get blown, the fenceline gets trimmed clear to the corner, the gate gets shut behind. Small operation, whole yard.
