Verde Heroes

About Verde Heroes

Down at the Blue Hole the South San Gabriel runs cool and clear between limestone bluffs, proof that green is possible here even in a dry stretch. Verde Heroes works toward that on Georgetown lawns — regular mowing, edging along the concrete, trimming the places a mower cannot reach, and sweeping the walks clear afterward so the color reads true. Beds and shrubs get attention on the same visit, since a yard is one picture rather than a lawn plus some plants. The route runs across town and out toward Jonah and Weir. Best part is the walk-away look: a straight edge, an even cut, nothing left where it does not belong.
