Matt’s Perfect Lawn Care

About Matt’s Perfect Lawn Care

A mowed line holds its direction the way a good seam does, and on a Saturday afternoon in Georgetown you can see who is paying attention from the end of the street. Matt’s Perfect Lawn Care mows in deliberate passes so the stripes lay parallel front to back, then knifes the edge along the walk and the drive until the concrete has a shoulder of bare earth exactly a blade wide. Trimming closes out the corners, and the blower takes every last clipping off the pavement before the truck moves. In the hottest weeks the height comes up to protect the crown, because a striped lawn that has burned is nobody's idea of finished. The work is repetitive by design; that is the whole point of the result.
