Local Roots Lawn Maintenance

About Local Roots Lawn Maintenance

Down at Berry Springs the pecans stand in rows the way somebody planted them a long time ago, and their roots have quietly decided where the water goes for a good distance around. Local Roots Lawn Maintenance takes the same long view of a yard: the same route every week, the same crew learning which corner stays wet and which strip along the fence burns first. Mowing and edging carry the schedule; trimming, bed tidying and seasonal cleanups fill in around it. Cedar elms drop their leaves in a hurry each fall and there is a week of raking that decides how the yard looks all winter. Knowing a lawn is most of the work — the rest is showing up and doing it right.
