About Lawns4You

Every April Georgetown goes red at the edges, poppies coming up along Austin Avenue and in the medians where they reseed themselves year after year without asking anyone. Lawns4You times its spring around that bloom, when the turf finally means it and a first real cut of the year sets the shape for everything after. From there it is a steady rhythm: mow, edge, trim the corners the mower cannot reach, sweep the concrete clean. Summer pushes the height up and the cleanups arrive in fall, when the beds need clearing and the yard wants putting to bed. Poppy season lasts a few weeks; a well-kept lawn is how a Georgetown house looks good the rest of the year.
