Green Dream Lawns

About Green Dream Lawns

Everything a Central Texas lawn has been waiting for tends to arrive in September: two inches of rain overnight, a morning that smells like wet limestone, and grass that goes from straw to green inside a week. Green Dream Lawns builds the whole year around chasing that green and keeping it — mowing on a rhythm the turf can carry, edging that gives the color a hard border, trimming so nothing shaggy undercuts the effect. In the deep heat the cut goes higher and the pace goes lighter, because in Georgetown a lawn holds its color by holding its shade. Cleanups clear the way in spring and again when the leaves come down. It is a simple dream, honestly: pull in the driveway and the yard is the best-looking thing on the block.
