About Lyssy & Eckel LP

West of George West the road runs out toward Choke Canyon, and at dusk the light turns the mesquite flats a deep rust before it goes. Lyssy & Eckel LP mows, edges and trims yards across that ranch country, keeping home places trimmed where the brush would happily take them back. In Live Oak County a lawn is a small deliberate green square held against a big dry landscape, and holding it takes regular cutting, clean edges and the clippings carried off. There is pride in a yard that stays sharp at the end of a caliche drive. Late in the day the mown lines catch the last sun the way a stock tank does.
