About TrialandTurf

In late October the first strong norther of the season sweeps down across Texas and reaches Garza as a sudden cool wind, rattling the dry seed pods and turning the sky a hard, clear blue. Around the same time, monarch butterflies drift south through the region on their long way to Mexico, pausing at whatever blooms they can find. TrialandTurf works the turf through this turning of the year, taming the late growth that the early-fall rains left behind and tidying edges before the cooler months slow everything down. A lawn put in order now carries a clean, settled look into the mild winter. Under that bright autumn sky, a neat yard with monarchs drifting over it is a lovely way to close out the warm season.
