About Erik Services
Garwood lies out on the flat rice prairie of Colorado County, where the canals run straight, egrets stand in the ditches, and you can watch weather approach for an hour before it arrives. Erik Services mows, edges and trims yards across that country, working the cool end of the morning while Gulf humidity still holds low over the fields. Grass grows hard here on warm rain and deep prairie soil, so a yard left two weeks turns into a field of its own. Cutting on rhythm, trimming the fence lines and blowing the walks clean keeps a home place looking kept in the middle of all that open land. On a clear evening the mown lines catch the last light like rows in a rice field.
