López Lawn Service

About López Lawn Service

By late afternoon in August the cicadas take over the Garland side streets, and porch chairs start filling as the heat finally lets go a notch. López Lawn Service is often still out then, finishing a lawn while neighbors trade a wave from across the fence. Mowing and edging, trimming the borders, the grass and fallen leaves gathered and gone — nothing left but the shape of the yard. Doing it in front of people you'll see again next week is its own kind of accountability. A block where each yard is squared away feels like a block that looks after itself.
