Beetle’s Lawn Care

About Beetle’s Lawn Care

There are pecan trees in Garfield old enough to throw shade across an entire front yard, and in late August that shade is the most valuable thing on the property. Beetle's Lawn Care works under it, mowing, trimming around trunks and flower beds, edging the walk and blowing the drive clean. August in the Colorado bottoms is a long, bright, cicada-loud stretch, so the cutting happens early, while the grass is still cool enough to slice instead of tear. A lawn mowed at the right height holds its color through the worst of the heat, and that is a small thing done well. By nine the mower is loaded and the yard already looks like September.
