About Vasquez Lawn Services

Galveston mornings arrive soft and salt-heavy, the fog still lying along Broadway while the live oaks hold their shade over the East End's iron fences. That is the hour Vasquez Lawn Services likes best, mowers running before the heat climbs, clippings damp underfoot, oleanders leaning over the property line and waiting their turn under the shears. Island grass grows fast and forgiving in all that wet warmth, so the work stays steady: mowing, edging, string trimming along the walks and curbs, hedges shaped back, every drive and sidewalk blown clean before the truck pulls away. A crisp edge reads differently here, a dark seam of soil against pale shell and concrete, and it holds a yard together the way a painted porch rail holds a house. By the time the sun is up over the Gulf the whole block looks tended, and the rest of the day belongs to the people who live on it.
